Do you feel like you just "get by" with your current salary? Or, are you comfortable enough?

I’m leaning towards just getting by - I definitely need to negotiate a raise soon.

So paycheck to paycheck? No savings?

I have some savings, but definitely not as much as I'd like. Right now, I'm focusing on paying down debt so I can have better cash flow. I'm relatively comfortable, but I'd love to be bringing in more. What about you, OP?

I'm confused. I earn well but the family's needs continue to grow.

Yeah, I feel pretty well set up for my age and background

What is your CTC and your age?

I still want a little more but things are comfortable enough.

How much are you at?

I'm just floating by on my current salary. I do some side work that helps me with my fun purchases. Not saving as much as I should be though

What kind of side work do you do?

I really want this title for growth but don't want to get stiffed. It's a large corp w/ great benefits.

Friends - Is any company hiring? Considering H1B transfer? I have total only 28 months left on my visa? Doesn’t look like the firm is going to sponsor green card. I have been performing well in my department no negative reviews in 4 years yet HR denied to file GC. Apparently they are only considering Managers for GC. Is this the same situation in Big 4 Audit? Please comment.

Considering switching as a 5th year from a small litigation practice to transactional role at a different firm.
