It’s normal, it’s human.
I’ve not been able to remove this completely, but I’ve been trying to make the most of my productive hours. Eg - I’m focused and productive ? - I’ll go as long as I can. I see that I’m turning in circles and not getting stuff done? - I’ll either go home early and take a break for yoga / nap / dinner or try to catch up on other stuff I need/want to do (eg personal or admin). Something is taking me hours because I’m tired and I know I can do it faster? - I’ll go to bed and tackle it in the morning.
It’s not perfect but at least I try to manage and optimize my peaks and throughs. That’s easier when more senior in your tenure though bc you are responsible for managing your time to output and you know how long it’ll take.

I truly think I’ve only experienced flow once in my life. Time vanished it was really amazing unfortunately it wasn’t when I was doing work
You need to find what your mojo is and use that. Really depends on the person
