All clients need to explain conference call etiquette when WFH to their employees. So far I’ve heard people washing dishes, talking to their spouse and kids, making lunch, and playing with pets...
Anyone know where the Microsoft Azure product teams work out of? Do they have a remote workforce?
Bf & I live in different cities, so due to remote work he comes over for longer periods of time. He was supposed to stay all week + the long weekend but today I was just so drained and on edge I told him he needs to go back today. I feel really bad and pretty sure he’s pissed but not sure how to preserve my own sanity while still being a good partner. Any ideas or advice on how to resolve and manage going forward?

I'm a tech consultant with 1 YOE. Im wondering if I should trade my current job: 80k TC, fully remote, ~45 hrs/week, fantastic company and team, and really fun projects, for a new opportunity: 125k TC, 100% in person, ~60 hrs/week, unknown team and company dynamics? Im leaning toward staying, because I really do love where I am, but thats life changing money! Any advice is appreciated!

Does anyone else end up in tears when frustrated / stressed / tensed - like after a tough client call or just a rough day with too much work. It’s not like I’m “crying” but have hot tears rolling down my face - more like anguish? I don’t do it in public but my SO sees me (WFH) and I don’t want to be perceived as weak
Just curious. What are other firms doing as far as hybrid/wfh models? Vision is still unclear from leadership what our return to work plans are.
Thinking of going to a country outside the US where I can stretch my dollar and live comfortably for a month or two while still working remote. Has anyone done this? Any location recommendations?
Anyone else having shoulder problems since WFH? I’ve been having this pain in my front right shoulder kind of the front of your armpit (best way to explain it). I think it’s how I’m sitting at my desk or that I lean into my arm too much but it’s beginning to become an issue. Anyone else have this experience or any advice. TIA
Anyone else realizing that family, friends, and general relationships are SO much more important than accomplishments as a result of covid/WFH?

I started working in a agency two months ago, and I have two very big projects running simultaneously. My Creative Director left for paternity leave, and left me with all the work, facing the client, going to shootings, editing. I've been working 15 days straight, no weekends. The agency hasn't given me any back up/someone I can team up with to do the job. Is this normal? I'm used to have a partner, a copywriter or another creative working alongside. Keep in mind that I'm mid-level.
Snuck out of work. Turned off my phone. Just bought tickets for Avengers: Endgame. Fuck utilization

Hey Big 4 fish, how many firms make you give back portions of your signing bonus if you leave within the allotted timeframe? I’m leaving one Big 4 for another and technically need to give half back...
I was laid off from a resource management role, working with employees approaching or on the bench, working with managers to staff projects, and support functions like report creation, scheduling, etc. Roles like this are few and many large consulting firms have frozen internal hiring. Do you think it would be beneficial to get a SHRM cert? Would that help get a "talent related" HR role? Worth the money? I have a background in recruitment as well.
I am on H1B. When firms ask “do you require sponsorship” is the answer yes? I would require a green card at some point, but if there is an interesting role that can’t file my GC,happy to work in H1.
