Do you find it harder to work on rainy days or when the sun is shining outside? For me personally I find it hardest to go into work when it’s dark and gloomy and I just want to curl up on the couch, but the current sunny weather also makes me feel like I’m wasting my life away under fluorescent lighting 😂

Yes!

It's been gray and cloudy and coldish. I just want to stay in bed. The peeks of sunshine today has been nice.

I also agree with Sunny days. I just want to be outside!

Haha it's even for me. When it's pouring, I want to be home in bed with my dogs. When it's sunny, I want to be outside with my dogs. I'm sure there's some occasion when I actually want to be at work, can't think of it off the top of my head though 😂

Haha too relatable

I'm the opposite! I find it hardest to work when it's sunny out because I feel like I'm missing out and want to be outside enjoying the nice weather. I'm always pretty productive on rainy and gloomy days because I know that there isn't really anything else I can really do.

It’s harder to focus when it’s nice out

Sometimes I just go for a walk for my meetings on nice days

Can I say both? When it’s sunny I feel very jaded and reject the idea of having to work so much and miss out on beautiful days. Humans weren’t made to exist indoors! On rainy days I feel very lethargic and if I’m working from home it’s even worse.

I totally agree haha. Is there any weather I wouldn’t prefer to not be at work … idk 😂

OP I find that it is very easy to work on rainy days but the hard part is when it is one of my in office days. I hate leaving the house when it is raining so if I have to go to the office I get annoyed and then I am not as motivated. Now on a nice day when the sun is shining and the weather outside is perfect, those are the days I find it really hard to force myself to work lol

Haha same! It’s easy to work in my hoodie if it’s raining at home, I hate commuting in the rain and sitting in the office

I think both are difficult for different reasons. Maybe the gloomy is a bit more challenging

I'm meteoropathic, and when I get weak and sleepy, to the point I need to lie down, i know that's 90% strong storm coming. I'm going to sleep, practicly anywhere, happened on the floor, with the strong lights, and tv on ( or I'm veeery sluggish if at work) 2-3 hours before, till the moment into rain and thunders, when i wake up naturally.

It's connected with air pressure (i have also very low blood pressure in my body), and served our ancestors as a survival aid, especially those from the northern countries, to prevent them from going out from safety and be catched in blizzards and storms.

And I just want to do a work honestly. No perhaps it is very hard work or not . But I need industrial job like chemical formulated or account officer. Or any other PQO like production quality Officer.

Struggling between two opportunities: 1. Digital Healthcare and new ventures with labcorp. 2. Strategy opportunity within cloud/AI/software with a larger firm (think Dell, HP, IBM).
1 looks like slightly better WLB but bit lower pay. Which one would you choose and why?
