Do you get more in strategy after getting promoted to a consultant? I know analyst salaries are the same regardless of S or C.

Salaries are more in strategy than in consulting, in general

I've been seeing a guy who is my height. I felt we get along so well but I haven't really felt that attraction to him. He was aware and we figured if we slept together and I still didn't feel better, that was that. It just made it so much worse, it felt like I was sleeping with a child because of his height/size I think 😭 I want to cut it off now...I'm going to hell for this, aren't I

Hey all, I'm a Manager in BC currently at low 60s.
Been getting approaches from KPMG and Deloitte.

Option 1: KPMG setting up a new team. Offering M starting low 70s. SM low 80s?

Option 2: Deloitte has an established team albeit pretty siloed with their sub offerings within the larger service offering. They offer more for a tenured manager I guess c.mid 70s starting

Option 3: Stay back at EY, look to make SM in Oct 2023. Take the hike/correction this yr. Been wth the firm 5 yrs

Thoughts pls?

Hi Fishes
I have a offer with a firm consulting firm, looks like it has a very poor wlb and I have only 12 days left in notice period I was waiting on Infosys but somehow got rejected in that, I'm looking for jobs in MNC and that would have 5 days working, and 2 day weekends mandatory off. I have worked more than 15+ hour everyday in current job no weekends which makes me think another 15+ hours everyday with lot of travel might affect me and relations with many close ones.
Advise me please.

This is Ace. He is a bassett/blue heeler mix. We've been through a lot with him.

He is the most loving and yet grumpiest dog I've ever encountered. He's basically me.

How do you choose to reduce the number of meetings you have?

My calendar is a hot mess - continually booked from 7am to 5pm. And not just booked - triply, and quadruply booked - for the 12 engagements I’m overseeing plus BD plus staffing plus other bullshit.

It’s insane and keeping on top of it stresses me out. To say nothing of having enough time to read emails, let alone review/work on deliverables.
