I have a prize box but I don’t introduce it to the kids until closer to the end of the school year.

I am in a LAP program for reading and math. We use punch cards for our students in small groups. One punch for being on time to group and one for working hard. When the punch card is full, they choose a small prize or treat.

How much house can I afford making ~80k/year pretax? Also is it worth it to put down less than 20% despite PMI? I know credit is cheap right now, so I’m curious. TIA

Look for new opportunities within holding company or outside? Any appreciable differences? Or is the “action” at the agency level? I’ve heard a lot of talk ... but is it valid?

I’m a midlevel who recently joined a new firm where my group is very busy, so my teams encourage pushing work down to junior associates. Seems great, but the problem is that whenever I give a junior associate a drafting assignment that’s not rote document processing, I have to redraft the entire thing and it takes just as long or longer than if I had done the work myself. I try to ask them to revise when I can, but we often don’t have time for more rounds of that. How can I handle this better?

new to investing. have done some research - reading blogs and a few books on investing. I still have the question of do individuals that take the index fund route… do you all purchase the same funds for different accounts? Example, would you invest in VTSAX across a brokerage and roth account, or would you take a different approach for each account?

I feel like the parts of ADHD that don't suck aren't talked about that much (and I need a reminder, desperately). The one thing I like is my ability (when I can get my brain to work) to focus hard and get something done in a short amount of time. If I'm really locked in, I can get a serious amount of work done fast. feel free to add yours (please lmao💀).

Coming out of UG, I accepted my first job b/c I thought I had to based on status of other interviews. I ended up quitting after 8 weeks in favor of an opportunity I perceived to be better, but took longer to get. 7 months into the new gig, I am NOT happy. Considering this is technically my second job out of school, how long should I stick around before trying to leave without looking like a total scumbag opportunist?
