I really think that 80% of jobs could be done by almost anyone with a little common sense and some on the job training. There’s very few that you really need your degree and specialized experience, and most of those deal with hard sciences. In my view at least.

Here’s my situation; I left a higher paying consulting position for a lower paying position (better WLB). When I left consulting, I got paid out for my PTO, and I received a signing bonus with my new company. I expect my income will be significantly higher this year than it will be for a while. Question for fellow attorneys:

I applied to a credit card with Chase a few months ago and within 7 days I was told it was rejected and they would send a letter explaining why.

Chase has recently calling to say it expired (they said it wasn’t rejected but I was told on the recorded line that it was).

Isn’t this against the law (fair credit reporting act)?. I’m not a lawyer so I’d love to hear your thoughts

Can anyone help me for an interview with TCS in SAP SD.YOE 7 years

I’m dating someone new and it is going very well. He is kind, not high strung, with great values and shares my sense of humor. It is so easy and natural to spend multiple days with him.
Still I am having doubts because I think he isn’t very “intellectual”. To be clear, he’s intelligent! He is a great STEM role that requires an advanced degree. We share a love of reading as well. However he is not really interested in world affairs, does not follow the news closely, does not have a strong grasp
