I’d recommend it. Good time to reset. Unfortunately I don’t have more than a day between my current job and my new one. Did last time!
100%, and your comment “With WFH is it even necessary” tells me you really need to take some time off if you don’t feel like your work life and life at home feel any different.

Clear your head no matter where you sit when you work. Do something non-advertisingy!
Agreed! Burn out is real and you want to be in top form for the new job. Take a bit of time for yourself!! Enjoy it. Work hard and play hard!

Yes! Take as much time as you can get away with depending on your start date
Take a two week vacation
Totally necessary! You’ll thank yourself once work starts. I feel like a good week or two is good, I prefer two
I tend to take one weekend off between jobs. Take more time off

I took a week off, took it easy, and smoked a ton of weed. Put me in a good mood to start off my next job.
Well worth it.
I try to take 2 weeks minimum. The new gig will always pressure you to start asap, but stand your ground. Life’s too short to not take as much funemployment as possible.
Yes, absolutely. At least two weeks. Great for a mental and physical reset.
100% yes. Taking a month off between jobs did wonders for my mental state.
I didn’t take any time off inbetween. My position happened to start after a 4-day weekend for Thanksgiving. But if that wasn’t the case I would’ve started right away. I don’t like taking any time off that isn’t PTO. Not that I’m hurting for cash, just a preference to wait.
