Always, and within 24 hours. If you don't have all of your interviewers' emails, you can ask your point of contact to forward it!
It's not expected as much anymore. I ask a lot of my higher up friends and they're like "no one sends them and if someone used PTO to talk to us they've done a favor for us, not the other way around."
Never
Always. I like to send 1st thing in the am so I know they'll get it when they start their day
Only for my top picks
Always. I usually send thank you email 1-2 hours after the interview or the next morning to highlight some of my skills and experience. Hope you get the position
Always, the sooner the better but always within 24hrs of interviewing
It is a nice and thoughtful touch. Something that does not hurt you or will hinder your opportunity but would add value to the overall experience the recruiter/hiring manager has with you.
During the interview be present and recall key items they shared to make the thank you personalized but of course not too personal, short, and sweet.
I always send one right after the interview. ☺️
I always do it one or two days after. It usually speeds up the feedback process.
Try to build and not burn possible bridges; you never know when you may cross paths again.
Always. Within 24 hours for sure, but sometimes sending it same day is okay too. If you interview on a Friday, I would send same day rather than waiting through the weekend. Or if the interview process seems to be moving fairly quickly, I’d send same day as well. Hope that helps!
A thank you email is a great way to re-answer the questions you feel you bombed during the interview. In addition, you now clearly know what the company’s pain points are and can clearly articulate your ability to resolve them. It is not for you to demonstrate you have manners. It is so your name and accomplishments have the last word.
Depends as to how much they wanted me during the interview. If I did very good, I don’t give them thank you email even if that’s my priority employer. I just want to maintain my high pedestal.
If I did so so during the interview, I left them thank you email just to bump up for their consideration and potentially re-interview in the future.
Only to the companies that actually made an impression on me, and only if I have something unique to point out.
I don’t want to send a generic “thank you for your time I appreciate it so so much” email anymore. As others have mentioned, not as expected anymore, and I’m not sure if this is true but it feels as if it could weaken your positioning if you appear too eager.
