Well as many others in the industry, my company just closed its doors indefinitely. If anyone has any openings in LA for an Art Director with 8+ years experience and design chops holler at me.

Not a lot happening with my brand at the moment. My CD told me to enjoy it while it lasts. But I want to try to make something good enough for my book with this extra time, since the brand I’m on just keeps the lights on here.

My company closed weeks before the pandemic hit, making it virtually impossible for me to find a job since last March. I’ve been sending dozens of resumes out, most places haven’t responded. Aside from a couple of small freelancing jobs, my family of 4, is living off of my husband’s salary and the extended unemployment I’ve been getting. I’m beyond frustrated and wonder if I need to consider a career change? How long do I wait? I’ve got 20+ years in advertising and it’s all I know.
