Do you guys think MBA programs next year will suffer from a lack of international cultural diversity since many international students may have to defer?

No, just as many domestic will defer, so it will balance out.

I think yes to a degree - don’t think domestic students will be allowed to defer. International students may be able to if there are visa processing issues.

Yeah A1, that’s what I’m thinking. I feel like schools are likely to grant some deferrals, prioritizing international students with visa issues. Domestic deferrals will probably be considered on a case by case basis and I feel like only granted for extenuating circumstances around health and family. That’s just my thoughts though.

If you are deferring one ground that you don’t wanna risk being remote for a semester, I don’t think it’ll be approved. They’ll likely call your bluff and say come this year or don’t come at all. And I doubt many people would turn down an M7 in that case.

Do we think schools will let even folks defer?

Doubtful

Mom Guilt I think I just need to vent. Last week, I had a partner throw me on something last minute and I was not able to work on my own assignments as I originally planned. In the end, I only had like 30 minutes to blaze through an assignment before I had to run out to pick my toddler up from daycare. I got there at exactly 6pm and she was the only baby who had not been picked up. It was so heartbreaking to see her sitting there, sad, waiting for me. I had to stop myself from crying…
