Like 2008? No
Like someone else mentioned. It’s really all speculative, we don’t even know what’s happening when we’re in it.
To me it feels like the dot com bubble. Lots of overvalued growth equities but you throw it massive inflation, a housing crisis, post-pandemic supply chain issues, war, midterms, etc. It’s a toss up
There’s always been people crying wolf since 2008. If you’re financially secure to stay afloat for 6 mos and are a good interviewer don’t be afraid.
It’s an opportunity to buy investments imho. But I may be coming from a privileged background and am risk averse without much other responsibility so it’s easy for me to say.
I think a “recession” will help stabilize prices/inflation but with the added stipulation of supply chain issues anything goes WRT prices.
Any answer is 100% speculative. We aren’t necessary heading into a recession yet though. Really depends how how fed can control inflation, if they have to keep bumping rates… that could trigger it
That’s exactly my point, when the average person says recession, they aren’t worried at 2 quarters of declining GDP. They are worried about much more.
More like ‘99 tech bubble in my opinion
No, this one will be different
I keep seeing that here but no newspaper have headlined this 🤔 Who exactly is predicting another recession?
