Do you guys worry about you future in IT industry and also health by working on this seating job.
I was working in Dotnet from last 10 year and it seems it doesn't give as much money as ML and other development provide.
And its very hard to switch to something else because nobody wants 10 year experienced guy with no hands on experience in the ML(For Eg.) profile he is applying into.
What should i do i am worried about the future and feel like i am stuck without any future.

Let me tell you, I love the flexibility at my firm, OK pay, and I do a great job, and am comfortable pushing back when I have too much work . BUT managers are terrible at planning and recently end up putting me in preventable situations where I need to work 55 hrs or have the staff work the 55 hours. I literally cannot since I have a family and my daughter is only in day care a few hours a day, I'm already doing my max work. Is it crazy that I may want to leave Bc I hate making ppl miserable?
