I am looking into starting my own firm with one other attorney. I have never been a partner or solo so I am trying to figure out best practices right now. I would appreciate any advice on starting up, things to avoid, preferred software, which gods to pray to, etc. The goal is to be virtual and to primarily do PI with a small amount of business services (my current book is mostly business litigation/contacts/outside counsel work).
Thank you all in advance! This is pretty daunting.
Don't bother. They're all BS.
Spend your time getting your Kaggle rankings up instead. IMO a Kaggle rank is the best estimate of a data scientist's skill.
I'm already on it. But I can work on the certication during work hours. On kaggle, only during my spare time. Thanks for your suggestion though, couldn't agree more.
Do AWS big data or new analytics cert
Oh... That's my feeling about every Cert around Data these days. I'm more into data science, but I also feel the need to get more involved into cloud infrastructure deployment. However, going through the analytics basics is an huge turn-off as that's my academic background.
