What is there to judge? You don’t need to see their faces to have an effective conversation.
I don’t think it’s appropriate for the team to be off camera, especially if you’re the one leading the conversation with the client/target. When we’re in listen only mode (or on large calls), then off camera is fine and preferable. While I have my camera on for most meetings with clients and whenever we’re speaking with the target, I’ve not insisted that my team do, hoping that they would follow my example. Six months into a project and I’ve yet to see their faces. 🤷♀️
P1 - I had the same thought. Part of me worries how soft skills slowly erode after being off camera for an extended period of time. I brought this up primarily because I was curious about experiences with clients and if anyone was experiencing subconscious judgement toward those who remained off camera.
Seems like most don’t. I don’t really care either way.

Why you being judgmental
I was asking to get a sense of general opinion, nothing judgmental here
It’s a culture thing. I’m in industry and every single meeting we have the cameras are off. When I was in public, the partners always told us to have our cameras on.
If ur showing face in meetings ur an L
I have my camera on from about 10am to 5pm. Before and after that, cameras off.
I have my camera on for internal meetings so I can get to know my team members. External - off if I don’t need to speak
Never put my camera on, partially because my wifi is slow (and partially because I am always in athleisure or a hoodie).
