When a really handsome and strong guy participates in a zoom meeting with me, I have this fantasy of imagining myself being dominated by him. I was still able to keep the meeting professional. ;/
I think I smile and nod too much. How do I stop? I don’t want to smile all the time but it’s like I’ve been conditioned over time. It honestly is draining. Especially on zoom I can see myself and in my head I’m like wow I am a wreck smiling and nodding vigorously at the most inane things.
Anyone know how to update the settings on IOS Skype for business so the app doesn’t continuously log you out after changing applications? Any recommendations?
Does anyone remember the “nudge” on MSN that used to shake up the screen? Wish we could do the same with Slack or emails 😂
Can companies monitor or listen in to the audio of Zoom calls if accounts are company facilitated?
manager is toxic. always forces me to pick up other team's slack. Thinking whether I should quit the job or there is anything that I can do differently to keep me motivated.
To all those new to crypto, here’s some of my experiences that could benefit you all. In 2016-2018 I invested around 20k in altcoins and turned it into 60k and then proceeded to lose almost all of it (was down to 10k). I had done extensive research in my projects and bought throughout the following years and that 10k investment (maybe more like 20k from further buying) has now turned into 600k in February but is back down to 200k. I will continue to buy and know that when in doubt, zoom out.

Do people still wake up with purpose, put on their pants, and take the day head-on? Or do they just roll out of bed, put on a hat, turn on Zoom, and just survive the work day like myself?
In your opinion, how important is it to be perceived as always being online (available on teams or Skype)? Asking because I’ve noticed people commenting on a certain associate always being online at odd hours.
lmaoooo I wish this was on Zoom

I am having a lots of interviews for a first year association position, but unfortunately any concrete offers. I am thinking two are the reasons why: maybe they do not like my accent and how I speak ( English is my second language) or I am asking to much when they ask about the salary range. What are the other reasons that you may mention why a person is refused after the interview? Do you answer when they ask about the salary range? Do you find helpful any sources for I interview skills? Thanks

Can someone please help me on how I can negotiate a higher salary, when a large component of my total compensation is linked to variable pay. I have cleared the final rounds of interview with a company, where the variable component is almost negligible and they're only willing to give a raise over my fixed compensation. PS The variable pay last year at my current firm was impacted due to onset of covid. :(
