People do totally burn bridges for sharing secret/NDA stuff, so probably don't do that.
Even for public stuff, I have heard of former employers with sour grapes making moves to force ex employees to remove stuff, but that's like once or twice in 20 years of doing this.

Yes yes yes! Anything that publishes that my hands and mind works on, is a part of my portfolio. Same for my resume. Doesn’t matter if I did it once
Are you asking if you should have two separate portfolios? One for your freelance writing projects and one for your full time writing projects? If so, why not just combine everything into one site with no separate tabs?
I've been struggling with this too! I'm still sending out links to publicly bylined work etc but I definitely want to make the process a little more professional down the line. Curious to see what others say
