Do you know anyone that went from Deal Services to something totally different? Accountants work like slaves. The sense of purpose can get lost in excel. The sedentary life is insane. Stress takes a toll on the body.

Both tbh. I love building and wish I never went to college

I went from fdd to audit if that counts

A1 is going to get a good level of exp esp in areas you did not touch or were not staffed in ie comm to CAM. They will be better at the job coming from FDD. If the firm has no/little FDD work then do it to gain more exposure and pivot back or out.

Hey everyone! S2 here and I’m interested in becoming a life coach after public so wanted to offer help to anyone who isn’t happy with the mentoring they’re getting at work and would like a second perspective. I’m also hoping to coach in areas beyond career, like core beliefs, values, habits, or relationships. I’ve completed online certification courses, I’ve done a ton of self study of other coaching content and I believe you can still provide value and help to someone even if you haven’t (cont)
