So I’m about to start my interview process for Capital One next week for a Senior Financial Analyst position. My recruiter going give me a prep call on Friday but I wanted any advice that recruiters don’t tell you during the interview process. Also I wanted to ask if Capital One a decent place to work at. I will be working at the one in McLean Virginia if that helps.

I think it's different everywhere. My manager and I have a short (30 min) call scheduled during comp week to do a brief review and communicate comp - we set that up via my personal email (I'm on mat leave). But I had the option to just skip it completely, which would have meant I would see my comp on the next paycheck.
I had scheduled an early review/bonus call at my boutique consultancy in early January. Baby was due at the end of January. Reviews usually happen in March. Baby came early, the week before my meeting was scheduled - whoops! So, we just did it when I got back - in May; that first week.
I got the bonus and a raise while I was out on maternity leave.
By the way- I 10/10 do not recommend having the review when you return from leave. Unless it’s glowing, you are not in a state to listen to any criticism from months ago, even constructive, when you just “returned” from raising a baby
Just bring it up to your management ahead of time. I suggest you lead the charge and take care of it before you leave if possible. It’s easy for your contributions to be forgotten while you’re away. Good luck.
