Everyday I think about how I miss being an associate with no responsibility, but I tend to forget how anxious and inexperienced I was.

As a manager the stress and workload is rough, but at least I have the experience to get my job done everyday without having a panic attack.

This is me right now I just started a couple weeks ago and I feel so lost

Top level senior (right below manager) was the sweet spot for me. I did second level review, cleaned things up, but never had to take on any “real” responsibility or figuring out big problems. I miss those days 😢

Why not both

like

Reviewer. Less clicking and typing (usually).

Reviewer because I love teaching newer staff from my experiences, and I love having more responsibility/control over my projects. My mindset is basically just give me what I need to know about the project, then get out of my way and let me manage it lol I’ll ask for help from the partner whenever I think it’s needed.

bed bug issues in California… can landlord make tenants cover the cost of treatment? I got bug bites yesterday and caught few at night and the exterminator came today and confirmed it’s indeed bed bugs. He inspected my room and said it looks they haven’t been here for a long time (2 weeks or so). Leasing office is trying to make me pay for the treatment per the lease agreement. However the lease agreement indicates it’s tenants responsibility if my conduct caused or contributed to the pest issue
