No, I don’t like the attention 🙅🏻♀️🙅🏻♀️🙅🏻♀️
Samesies!
I like celebrating other peoples birthdays but not my own. I feel awkward when people say happy birthday to me lol

THIS.

Nope. I'm not a child, I'm also GenX. It's just another day. I also refuse to go to children's parties as we celebrate those at home with immediate family and reserve parties for 5, 10, etc.

No. Introvert that doesn't like being reminded he's getting old.

No, I'm afraid of being let down

i don’t like celebrating it specifically but I do like having an excuse to get all my friends together
Yes, my husband always helps me plan a little trip and is a wonderful gift giver. I love my birthday since I’ve been with him.
Yes, I enjoy treating my friends for my birthday and treating myself too.
Last birthday, I booked an open tab for food and beer at a local brewery. It was a lot of fun for 30 friends that showed up. Birthdays are a big deal in my culture and my family.
Oh lol okay that’s amazing. That’s like dinner for 7 here in New York

Only because I make it special. Having to compete with a major national holiday means I take the whole month to celebrate with everyone since calendars are hard to organize around that time of year.

Don’t really like trying to meet with people since it can often be disappointing if they are too busy.
But recently have let it be a day where my wife and I just have kinkier than usual fun. So not a bad way to celebrate lol
Nope. Don't like getting older.

Yes, 100%! I always have, but as a breast cancer survivor, I do so even more now. You never know how much time you have and grateful for every year I have had, but also, it’s just fun!
That is definitely not to say I like a big party as an introvert - usually just my immediate family or next year (at 50) a small party with close friends - but I love my birthday!

I like to celebrate with just myself in the most glorious way - take the day off of work, and do whatever the heck brings me joy that day. Getting lunch by myself, laying out by the pool or lake, going shopping, reading a good book in a coffee shop… anything at all that seems like a fun idea for that day.
I like a small cake after dinner with my family, does that count?
Now I do - a lot.
My SO turned my bday into a forcing mechanism (guilt trip) to bring together all my close ones so we could ensure I can spend quality time with them or just make sure we stay in touch.

I don’t mind it but I don’t expect it.
I don't like to, my birthday is on a holiday and people tend to already have plans with family or am competing with someone else's holiday party.
I'd love to feel celebrated, but it is impossible to feel that way
Nope, feel one year closer to dying.
Nope. Don’t wanna celebrate another year closer to death. But also no one makes a big deal out of my birthday anymore so I don’t either.
Big yes, I am not getting married anytime soon so it’s a great opportunity to gather a lot of people and have a great time, treat friends and catch up!
