Love it! Culture. It’s not just a saying on a poster, it’s lived daily.

like

We love to see it.

like

Yes, totally. We have a bonus for the best employee of the year. All work travel expenses are shouldered by the company also.

like

Somehow, yes. I've worked for worse. Anyway, we are offered an employee wellness program (fully paid 13th-month gym membership).

like

If it’s a really good gym it worth it!

Yes, it's great! Just the usual paid leave, health insurance, mental health services, and gym membership. If I remember correctly, I think there's also a tuition reimbursement.

like

Oh, yes I do. I have been in the company for quite a long time and they pay me a reasonable salary rate with a performance-based raise every year. They also provide for all types of insurance, sick and vacation leaves.

like

Yes I work for a great company. The culture is truly great and I love the people I work with. We get raises every 6 months and we get an end of the year bonus which is usually pretty significant.

like

I have to qualify my answer in this. I have no qualms with the benefits. It's the people comprising the company that I have a problem with.

like

Yes! I absolutely love my current company. I just joined last year and I can see myself staying here for a long time. I especially like the insurance benefits and bonus!

One of your roommates (and a close friend that you’ve known for years) has a flight to catch. He has a suitcase, a duffle bag (no wheels), and a backpack. In order for him to get to the airport would you:

A) offer to drive him to the airport that’s about .5 miles away (5 minute drive)

B) tell him to order an Uber since you know his work would pay for it

C) tell him to not be lazy and walk half a mile to the nearest public transportation stop, with all that luggage, and take public transit

Also say if we will get yearly hikes. Read that there wouldn't be any hike at all in all of the reviews.

I’ve been working as a contractor for 3 years renewed 6 times and they’ve been promising me a promotion to be hired full time for a while now without a raise. Finally I’m getting hired as a full time employee with benifits. One of the benefits is an annual bonus of 16%. This is 20k which is a lot of money for me. I’m devastated that I was told that I missed the cut off to qualify for the annual bonus by just 2 weeks. I’m told my start date is Monday, but I have yet to receive any paperwork.

At times I'm jealous of copywriters. At every shop I've been to, ADs are asked to do more jobs like animating & video editing on top of the usual concepting, design, comps, decks, presenting, & idea writeups while it seems the skills stay the same for CWs. It feels worse knowing there are good pro animators/editors/photographers looking for jobs. I'm sure there are CWs being asked to do additional jobs, I don't want to discount their struggles. Just needed to vent.
