What is the pay scale at Amazon/AWS?
I’m looking for some additional tips and/or specific things to focus on in preparation for the multi-round interview process for a role at Amazon Web Services in what I assume is for one of the cloud services team. From what I’ve gathered, is the interviews are largely based on the leadership principles. However, how do I know which would be asked? which would be more related to the role/or team I’d be on? What other types of questions to prepare for leading to the 1-on-1 with the hiring manager
I would say No, not always, but some things to consider:
1. Is this a large company?
2. How many positions is several?
3. Are all the positions at the same level of experience?
4. Are you tailoring your resume to show and highlight the skills relevant for each position?
When I receive multiple applications from the same candidate I check to see if the other roles they applied to make sense.
All reasonable, since you received the rejection on basis of being too senior I would thank them for the feedback. Too senior could be the Hiring Manager being nervous you will be bored and leave quickly or they may not be able to afford someone at your skill level. If you applied for another more senior role leverage their feedback to ask about one role and if they have any insight.
