Any material change needs amendment

It is obviously a material change since your designation is changing and so will your LCA wage need to be updated too I do not know if there is a change in role and responsibilities. If there is no change then it is not required

Check with the V&I immigration consultant and immigration attorney. They are the ones who can give you the correct answer.

Check with V&I and also with other H-1B seniors you know who initially came in as staff.

Is ghosting the new norm? I’ve been dealing with a senior HR manager at a company. She emailed me last Monday for availability for an in-person interviews. I responded promptly on Tuesday. Then I left a message on Thursday to advise if she needed additional time slots, I could provide more options. I sent a text on Friday stating if she had a specific date in mind, I could take a vacation day to accommodate. No response. She’s in her 50’s, so I figured there’d be some professional courtesy.
