Out of curiosity, is anyone else a single parent on here? I have 50/50 custody, but with all the school activities, on my nights alone I am making up time and working. Leaves little time for personal me time, let alone dating. At this point in my career, it’s not easy to just “coast” and a nanny is not an option. Anyone else in the same boat? Haven’t seen as many single parent executive women around.

I feel like I have a really negative relationship with my ADHD. As a child it really irritated and stressed out my mother so as soon as I mellowed out a little bit I always thought of it as a really negative thing. I still worry that if I talk too much or too fast, or forget something around her she'll get really annoyed or be angry with me. We've never talked about it but I think I might need to talk to a professional about it. Can anyone relate?

So weird I don’t remember joining this bowl (or why) but my new therapist recommended an ADHD assessment. I’ve been researching symptoms and can relate to a LOT of them (as a child and adult). I’m conflicted because I can stay organized when I track my daily routine (been using my daily planner consistently for 2 months yay) and I’m able to focus using Pomodoro technique. How's everyone doing with back to school and mental health? I'm too stubborn to break, but UUUGHHHH! i went in with the mentality of exiting into p/e. i know it’s a bit of time before i’ll have anything meaningful to talk about in p/e interviews.

but what would be the typical route for someone like me, starting at a consulting firm, trying to exit into pe. i put p/e track at lek so i’ll be getting more and more cases eventually.
