My mom texts me every morning and I have a group chat with my mom and dad. We talk on the phone 5-6 times a week.
I have 5 friends who’ve lost their mom or dad or both and realized the time with them is short, we are all early 30s as well ❤️

these responses are…super eye opening. i see my parents MAYBE twice a year and actually have a phone conversation with them MAYBE 10 times a year?

This is really nice. Kudos 👍
Every day. 50/50
Same!
I call my mom at least 3x a day. She’s my best friend in the world
My mother calls me almost every day, and I’ve been weaning her so it’s down to once a week.

Every second day. I'm also living about 8,000 miles away from home soo
Less than once a week. I have a great relationship with my parents, just have been pretty independent my whole life. I know my sisters talk to my mom almost every day.
Daily but I also love them and they are my peace
My dad was a spy for a living , so sometimes he likes to go a few days without talking so he can prove he knows what’s going on in my life … But typically they reach out first and often

I’ll think about this response for some time to come…dying 😂

I talk to my parents for about an hour once a week unless there’s something pressing to discuss more frequently. I know others who call their parents for like 5-10 mins every day, though (however, their parents are more elderly than mine with more spare time and pressing health issues.)
Daily basis.. live so close to them.(10 mins drive) but pandemic hit so hard.. no choices.
Anyway even before covid hit
My mother calls me daily but ignore her so we talk once very 3 days
I do! She’s a bit crazy!
Once a week, with an occasional bonus call if I feel the need. Honestly I run out of things to talk about, which is sad, I wish there was more to talk about because I love my parents. It just gets weird once you run out of things to say and start staring at each other

Finding common interests has been the only way I can communicate with my father.
We cannot have a real conversation about anything meaningful, but we can talk college football for days
Text everyday. FaceTime once a week so she can see her grandkid
My mother comforts me. I call her a few times a week. Somehow she also always calls me when I need it the most.
I speak with my parents twice a day. Most of the time, they text me to ask if I’m not busy and then I call them. We have a 10.5 hour time difference. Also, I’m the only child 👧
Everyday ❤️ since I left home for undergrad… even if it’s for 5 mins…
I try to call once to twice a week for a quick call. I live across the country so I don’t get to see my mom often. Usually twice a year
Mum voice notes my siblings that don't live at home ever single day. Calls are 50/50 really.. not planned or anything... every few days..
Tried to call as much as i could before the pandemic due to a 12 hour time difference. With work from home every single day
