I prefer to work for the manager who knows their job and teaches. That's the only criteria.
Don't care about gender of the manager , as long as manager isn't pissy and take foul mood out one me; female here
Am male, prefer managers who are competent and reasonable. I honestly don't give a shit about their gender or sexual orientation.
Prefer male and I'm female
Female and I'm female. Men are such overcompensating assholes in my group
I'm male and prefer female. I find that women are generally more empathetic and considerate than men, so they tend to give a shit about your life and future in a way that most men don't...especially if they have kids. My best boss was a woman, my worst boss was a woman, so it's hit or miss.
I'm male. It doesn't matter - i've worked with female managers who are crazy and male managers that are completely incompetent. Just depends on the person.
I'm female. Have had good and bad both genders. Gender is irrelevant in my mind as to what makes someone good at coaching
Prefer male am male
I've had one female and one male manager consistently over my time here. I greatly prefer the male manager, but this seems anecdotal, not a representation of what gender makes for better managers.
I'm horse.
Male and prefer female. Much more understanding and empathetic in general. Not as obsessed with their job usually.
I'm male and prefer male.
100% male
Prefer male and I'm female. Females are petty
Make for sure
Male and I am female. Agree with KPMG 2.
Male. I'm female
Female and I'm a female. Not all males are this way but I've just had some very degrading male managers and male managers who feel like they have to act really tough and harsh to be the stereotypical no bs businessman. However I think it helps the whole team if the managers are better at communicating and understanding if things get off track or go wrong rather than just yell about it.
I'm woman and prefer male
