My husband, who had a successful career but is not yet 40, wants to retire and look after our kids while actively investing our money. I enjoy consulting and will gladly keep working. We also have a good amount of savings, mostly fueled by our frugality during his peak earning years. I feel like I need to support my husband’s dreams while negotiating clear terms. Has anybody been down a similar path and have advice?

A parent of one of my students told admin she thinks it's irresponsible that I won't be grading over Christmas break. I let the students know to get any work they need graded in before the break and I'll get it to it during our workdays in January. Apparently that's not fast enough for her 🙄. Is it wrong that I'm sort of pissed off by this? Should I say something?

Hi there, I recently completed my MBA degree with a marketing focus at Pepperdine. I am super interested in working in marketing in any industry related to healthcare/medical (e.g., hospitals, health tech, biotech, biopharma, medical devices). Does anyone know anyone in marketing in that sector? I’d love to hear their career story and see if they have any advice to give, thanks so much!

Question for parent 🐠s. What are the pro and cons of having 2 or more kids. Wife and I are exhausted with our 18 month old (who we both love more than anything in this world!). While we do miss the initial 6-9 months phase of parenthood, don’t know if we can do this again. Also, with us being 35-36, we have to decide if we want to have another kid soon.

Question for moms. I’m getting married next year and have several close family members that will have babies ages 8-11 months old by then. What are some ways I can support the moms and make it an enjoyable experience for them? We have a separate room at the venue that I was thinking could be offered to the parents to use, or potentially hiring a babysitter for them (either at the venue or back at the hotel). I would love for the families to be able to come, as it is out of town.

First time soon to be a dad here. Is it abnormal that I don’t want to have sex with my pregnant wife?

Women who had kids on their 40s, what are your regrets? I'm finally pregnant after many failed attempts and sadness. Now that im pregnant I'm flipping out. Do you travel still or feel like you no longer have a life or freedom? Having alot of anxiety and not happy about how old I am having them.

Happy Friday. Just a reminder of a few things:

- ADHD is a disability, but it’s not the end of the world
- give yourself a break. Your brain needs it more than you realize
- medication is not a cure-all treatment. Medication + diet + exercise + self-organization is the key.
- ADHD causes us to feel emotions stronger than the average person.
- failure is inevitable, but so is success. Act accordingly, and be kind and fair to yourself
- life is hard, but that’s… wait, what was I saying? 😂😎❤️

Two of my really good friends at work have had their work dry up in the past few months (because of the Rona). I'm like two months ahead of them on hours, and they're worried about not making their minimum billable requirements.

Feel sort of guilty and try to avoid talking about hours with them. I'm just hoping the firm doesn't give them trouble...
