Have you ever played snake and ladder? The good MBA would be a ladder where you end up skipping a couple of levels in your career . On the other hand a shitty MBA will leave you with no prospects and a loan that's gonna eat at you at 13% / annum from the moment you switch on your laptop for the first class ( most classes are virtual for now).

yes 100% but only if done from top 10 or at worst top 15

If your plan is to end up as a CEO of some company and work till 60 then yeah, it's worth it. But if you are looking for financial independence and want to retire early, then absolutely not.

D1, It's because the society has taught us that getting a degree is the only way to get success. But if you look at reality, you'll find almost all immensely successful entrepreneurs without an MBA. There is a reason companies like Google or unicorn start-up Cred are open to hiring people without any degree.

Fairly new to the whole consulting game and really switched careers to consulting to specifically work at McKinsey (long story there but in short, admire the work they do). Got to last round interviews in 2019 but didn’t close:/ started a job at Accenture, fairly new here but just curious about tips on how to plan to reapply to McKinsey and if a shift like that would even be possible without an MBA?

Leaving NYC for Austin soon. What’s the best car I can get, new or used, for $25k? I’ll likely only be in Austin for 2 years before I leave for another job or an MBA, so something that’s friendly for first time drivers and has a decent resale value (or can be used by my parents) is a plus.

With two years of consulting experience, I’m scared of looking for jobs. You may laugh at my imposter syndrome, but I developed an interview phobia. The last time I studied for case interviews was in the final semester of my MBA a bit over two years ago. After I’ve failed many interviews (cases), I got into my current job by cracking difficult cases. Now, busy with ongoing projects, I have no desire to study case interviews again. How much of practice would bring me back to proficiency? 3-4 mos?

Last night's buy at 3096 goes 1.5 points over the objective that I called last night in Europe. There were two HWB long buying opportunities last night. New Target 3159.25 probably hit in today's NY session. We are trading Micro HWB's right now. Basically, we are goin to hit new highs and create a potential double top situation. Be careful being long at that new objective. If it's a dip into new highs situation, we could sell off violently, like we did yesterday. Bullish Above 3126.
