New analyst question: Why do we present the amount of crossover rounds when looking at IPOs in the market? This is in a marketing deck I’m not staffed on, just curious.

Our district voted on returning back to school with students in the classroom and some staying at home. We now have to teach students in the room and on Zoom at the same time. I’m not complaining but does anyone have any tips on the best and most effective way to get this done?
I currently work for a company that has 91 employees and I’m the only HR person here. I only make 56K a year and I’m for sure getting screwed since I live in Lancaster, PA. I have a bachelors in Comm/HR with 3 YOE in HR.
What should my salary range be? This is great experience but I’d like to know if it’s even worth the stress. I’m looking to work remote and would love to still be involved in HR. What’s a good asking price for a remote HR generalist position with my experience?

I am 39 and seeing the start to what might be “fine lines”. When is Botox a real consideration? Is it like hair highlights - once you start, every three months you go back for more? Should I wait until fine lines = wrinkles? What are the downsides?
I’m looking to leave technology risk (IT audit), and get into an industry M&A accountant role. Any advice on how to spin my current experience on my resume for this type of role?
I’ve run budget on my teams but that’s about as close as I can get to any ‘relevant experience’.
What are this bowl’s thoughts on homage watches (ie steinhart)? I own a BB58 and was gifted an Omega FOIS, but I don’t think I’ll ever have it in me to spend $10k+ on a Yachtmaster Rhodium or Sub. There are other things I want to put my money towards in life like property, family, and experiences so I’ve been thinking of buying a homage to enjoy the look and stop with this overly expensive hobby

Anyone have the new Ford Mach E? Always thought a Tesla was my next car but I’m really loving the Mach E
About to do the final oil change covered under my BMW CPO maintenance coverage. At 46k miles and I need to try to keep it (328i) for another 3 years. Should I consider extending the maintenance plan?

Thinking about getting an Audi eTron or a Jaguar i-Pace. Interested in hearing owner experiences for both... no, I don’t want to know what other car you think is better and I refuse to get a Tesla, so save it.
Are range rovers reliable vehicles?
Thinking of gifting myself a used Panamera. 2017-2018, about 50k miles and for 50k $ (sample numbers, been looking at 4s). Any recommendations on the car (this is my first big car purchase of years of saving for family) but don’t want to burden myself with ridiculous maintenance bills. Any advice on the model /trim or even if it’s worth buying or not? I am looking for a fun ride after many years of hard work but don’t want to have it sit in the shop and burn another hole in my pocket. TIA
I’ve been dead set on getting a new 4 runner but it feels impossible to get anything under 50k. Also dealerships are all pretty much sold out and I’m getting told I’ll need to wait several months. What’s a good alternative that’s not a Tacoma and would be closer to 40k? Dumb to be considering a Grand Cherokee?
Planning to lease a bmw for the first time. Is the inspection at the end of lease very detailed ? like in terms of scratches, dings, dents etc not planning to get intentionally 😁 but iam worried that for a leased car i would have to drive it more carefully and maintain it really well as compared to if had financed/ bought the same.
Anyone have any experience with royal enfield? Thinking about getting a continental gt 650 but I’m worried it’ll be boring because of how slow it is
Watched a review for the new flagship genesis, but at 100k….eeeh? I’d rather buy a slightly used S class or 7 series
Going to be in the market soon for a new car (sedan) to replace my old warhorse (2006 Camry). Considering a Lexus ES (both new and very lightly used - less than 10k miles) and Tesla 3 (only new, both in the same range depending on trim and options chosen). Primary factors are:
1- Reliability ; 2- Total Cost of Ownership; 3- Smooth and luxurious ride . Plan to keep car for 15+ years. Any recommendations on one vs the other? Or any other option I may have missed in this price range?
Overheard at the Porsche dealership:
"I asked for a 911 and you're trying to pawn this 992 off to me! I know what I want. I want a 911, *not* a 992"
What are some of the things to keep in mind when leasing a new car? What are some add-on that can be negotiated on?
I ordered a Tesla model 3 SR in April and I am able to take delivery this weekend, however I’m now unsure of whether it’s the right move financially. I have a lease on a 2020 BMW X3 that will end next month and was wondering if I should just buy that out and drive it for a few years. If it makes a difference I’m in SoCal so gas is $$$, but no EV charging in my apartment.
Tesla: $830/month + charging and insurance
BMW: $600/m + $150 gas + maint/insurance
Any thoughts? Is the Tesla worth it?
model 3 vs the model s? I drove both and actually like the handling of the 3 better. I live in a city so the 3 would be much easier to park and move around. Cargo space seems fine. And it’s so much cheaper. What am I missing? If I wasn’t that concerned about the $ would I be silly to go for the 3?
I like the look of a jeep but I need something a bit more refined for road trips. Any suggestions?

As soon as we start asking questions like this the market will turn. That’s been proven so many times.
22:25 for commentary on how dealers are making more money now than every before. I’m also in M1’s position where I finally have some cash to buy something nice, but instead all my “nice car” money has turned into “47,000mi used” money in this stupid market. Like I can buy a car if I really want to, but there is no value in the market right now, everything is so overpriced. And I fear that there is no incentive for dealer and manufacturers to go back to the “old normal” https://youtu.be/OewDWaxuaOg
Yea they are getting a premium on all their sales. Quality vs quantity
Pricing will slowly come back to normal over the next year. There will still be amazing deals to be had in about 3 months.
Yea the problem is people continue to pay these prices. How do I short the auto loan industry?
