Dyslexia! After having our kindergartener son tested (privately) related to ADHD, we were told he may have dyslexia too (which would explain why he struggles so much with phonics but is amazing at sight words). He has a very high IQ. As a voracious reader, I am finding myself unexpectedly distraught that something that I have loved so much will be such a struggle for him, and worrying that it will affect his motivation and may steer him away from things he may otherwise love.
Tips/Commiseration?

I have a student with autism. He is mostly behavioral and at a lower learning level so he has to be in a separate classroom. We try to let him play with the students at recess or join in class parties. He has a sibling that attends school as well. When we were waiting in car line a group of girls talked about how they feel so bad for the sibling because of my student. Thankfully, neither student or sibling heard. But how do I respond to that as an adult? Especially, if they do hear?

Not sure if this is the right place to post but I have really been struggling with work lately. I was diagnosed with ADHD in the winter and prescribed adderall. While it helps me get up and start my day, I still completely lack motivation to actually do anything even as simple as responding to an email. I am 34.5 and have been TTC for 1.5 years. Failed one cycle of timed intercourse and one natural cycle IUI. At this point, considering IVF- there were no major issues when got tested by RE. Had a microadenoma and have been on medication since. Husband’s count and motility came back normal but morphology was a bit low. RE said low morphology does not matter much. About a year ago I took a job closer to home (7.5miles). My previous position is about 50miles away, but I worked there for 11.5 years. I am really thinking about leaving and going back to my previous position. I absolutely HATE my job now. It gives me panic attacks thinking about it. I’ve had to change my anxiety meds and increase dose. Yes my old job is an hour away, but I was so much happier and less BS I had to deal with there. Do y’all think it’s a good idea to take a job with more commute?

I had a missed miscarriage in January and opted for the D&C after the medication didn’t work. I found out I was pregnant again earlier this month but yesterday began the nightmare again, loss of symptoms, dull aching pain… I’m seeing my fertility specialist for what would have been an early ultrasound later this week. I’m afraid my body won’t naturally expel again and I’ll be left waiting in pain again to confirm the loss. Anyone navigate more than one missed miscarriage?
