UIUC and GT both have good classes, and a master's helps a lot with DS interviews. But not sure if by tech consulting you mean DS specifically or not. If not, I wouldn't.
Also at $20k and 2-3 years cost, your main motivator should be learning, not just an extra resume line. You can take your career further by dedicating that time and money to networking or even doing more at your current job.
If you're already getting interviews, then all the more. Make a list of models and watch videos to learn about individual models. I recommend StatQuest and Ben Lambert on YouTube. Also take a standalone data mining class to get a feel for the modeling process. Don't have specific recommendations on this one. If you decide you need time series modeling specifically, DataCamp would be a good bet.
If you want to broaden your knowledge, go for it. But if your primary motivation is career growth, I suggest you reconsider your decision. You can go into tech consulting with or without a master's degree but there's no guarantee that you'll get a higher salary.
Both of them (broadening my knowledge and career growth) are my motivations. I was thinking of it cuz I have problems in DS interviews about the concepts/ mathematics behind the problems
MBA would maybe get you more $$$
From a career growth perspective, it's a bad investment. If you like school and it's worth it to you to further your education in a formal way, then it may be worth it.
I would consider both formal education. You're spend 10s of thousands and years of your time either way
Informal would be taking Udemy courses, watching YouTube videos, codeacademy, etc
