Perhaps you can share that you are interested in being more involved and are looking for some opportunities. Perhaps you can make some suggestions for programs etc and offer to lead/plan
I definitely think that it’s okay to be honest with admin but there’s a big difference between being honest and just complaining. It’s been an interesting journey but I have found that if you assume positive intentions and come into with solutions that your admin is a lot more likely to be cooperative .
It really depends on how open minded your administrators are. It's a judgment call on your part.
Have you expressed interest in leading for mentorship or admin areas? If so, I personally would ask on what areas I could improve on, or PD to attend to increase marketability for leadership opportunities
Depends on the relationship you have with them. It’s been my experience, that administration will seem approachable until someone actually approaches them. Be wary.
I have been passed up many times also, hopefully the interveiw process is fair and unbiased.
Be honest but respectful. I feel like they appreciate that more than you know
