Definitely people are going to realize the productivity is still there and it will cut cost. I think we definitely see a travel reduction. The M-T travel is pointless on 95% of engagements

Yes. Businesses are finally going to realize they actually don’t need to maintain so much office space and they can recruit best talent from anywhere, not just in a 20 mile radius from their building. Law firm trend was to virtual offices already, this will just accelerate it.

That probably depends on productivity during this time. Just because people can work from home doesn’t mean they work better there.

I really hope so.

I think my firm is going to be moving towards global flexibility regarding work from home. They won't force us to live in certain cities with offices. Back in the day, I did my own PR, sales & marketing for whatever business idea I was running with at the time. What’s a good remote sales opportunity I can do anywhere in the world that won’t be painful or too high touch? Where I can use my social & business skills (markets, law, cloud, publishing, media, logistics, algos, social media, books, ebooks, design, podcasting, marketing, press release writing, voiceover, journalism) to earn a few extra shillings?

Okay I’m going to say it if hasn’t been said before: I want the option to go back to the office now. I get some of you have kids or prefer wfh but I can’t stand it. I hate being cramped up and some people also live with toxic family members. We should make it optional for those who want/need to come back

My professional life at the moment is far from ideal. I’ve been on quarantine (long story, but a good one) for the last seven years. Royalties from my books don’t pay the bills. My entrepreneurial pursuits remain hampered. For the interim, I’ve been looking for a remote opportunity where I can leverage my skills in marketing, sales, social media, and elsewhere for a decent sum. I have a social media presence which, in recent years, reached millions. There has to be something exciting I can do.
