Do you think PH agencies will get hit with cuts?

Is it realistic to switch to consulting and then come back to tech if it doesn't work out?
Have never done sales, so don't know if I'd want to stay in consulting or not long term - since those careers get more sales driven the higher you go

Recently had an interview with Medtronic. They discussed pay right away in the first screening interview. Wish this was the norm!

I currently work at a large research institution and am in the process of getting retroactively reclassified to a new title (Long story but my PI is cheap and routinely pays ppl the bare minimum so now the Union is helping me w/ a retro reclass.) Reclass can take 2 - 6 months to process. Meanwhile, I am interviewing for industry job. If I get an industry job, what do I do if my reclass isn’t processed yet? How does anyone break into pharma/ health care? It’s impossible!

I don’t have many years of of experience on paper (graduated college 5 years ago) but I constantly get told that I operate at a level far above my title. My art partner left to be an ACD somewhere else and she wants to recommend me as her partner, INSISTS that she knows I can do it (and she isn’t the type to exaggerate).
