Does anyone have experience with Ben Glass’s “Great Legal Marketing” programs? https://greatlegalmarketing.com
I ordered a free “starter kit” from his company and received a decent-sized box with some books and audio CD’s. Haven’t listened to the CD’s yet, but the books aren’t bad, with plenty of practical advice.
Now he’s running a promotion where you can get two months of his basic-level course for just $19.95 to cover the cost of shipping. It seems that Ben is one of the better-regarded legal marketing “gurus” out there.

Absolutely. Assuming you're gonna get promoted within a year, the first 2-3 months goes on happily kicking in the feeling. 4-6 months pass by understanding the process better and finding some loop holes for your comfortable work advantage.
The months 7-8 you explore more of the loopholes and keep working more efficiently because you've been in the system for a long time.
The 9-10 month starts hitting you hard when you understand the pay might be less for the work you do and you can do better by a promotion or a job change.
By 11-12 month, you are planning job options, updating resume and keeping things standby for either this or that.
By 12th month the reality hits you, and you're forced to make a choice
100% yes. I've been a poor performer at work in the past when certain difficulties were happening in my personal life, and still managed to talk my way into a promotion while simultaneously avoiding a PIP.
