Just got a 2nd antibody test. My 1st test and my 2nd test were both positive. Assuming the test each has a 10% rate for false positives, I assume the likelihood that I don’t have antibodies is less than 1%. Still wary of the results, but definitely feel a lot less anxious about Covid now. Bought my test directly from Quest and my insurance will reimburse. Had mid flu like symptoms (fatigue, fever/chills, sore throat) for 2-3 days, and nasal congestion/loss of taste for a week.

Seeing the current hate crime trends against Asians - I’m seeing less of race more so the perpetrators tend to be either uneducated and low-income or of need for mental support. Therefore, these types of people are more susceptible to be brainwashed by the media and act on hate crimes. This country needs to reform its educational and healthcare system

My SO and his brother are both doctors and are mixed race. My SO looks black, while his brother could pass as Asian. It’s amazing the different experiences they have had with patients. While my SO has had patients request a different doctor, his brother has never experienced this. The conversation tonight made me realize that even though racism is racism, it is a different experience and we all need to take the time to learn so we can better support one another.

Question for Black members here. Have you observed more/less/same levels of discrimination since the BLM movement?
