Hi all - I wanted to ask an odd question. I received an offer from a consulting firm for $120k as a senior consultant in Dallas. I have 5YOE all in data and analytics and this move would represent a large bump in my salary. My concern is that looking at the posts here it seems like the norm is $150k. Am I being low balled?

I jad an interview on 2nd August, 2022 and on 17th August, 2022. I received an email stating that interviewer is moving up your profile and contact a person email id for further information.
Since that day I haven't heard anything from the HR. I had called HR several times but no response from calls as well as mails too.
Anyone also faced this situation?

I have got an offer letter from Morgan Stanley for the QA role in regulatory reporting. Currently I am in a BA role with 7 yrs experience. In MS they are giving a good hike (45%) plus joining bonus. Not sure at this stage should i switch from BA to QA role.

I realized I've been a dummy for getting a job at a creative agency and not working on my portfolio. Most of the projects I've taken on, I've done so as a way to support others without taking much credit for it. Now, a better opportunity came along and I don't have anything to show for my talent as a designer. ALWAYS take credit for what you do, even if it's not your project to begin with.

Is living in CA worth it? Just thought...maybe it would be nice to be by the ocean and not have negative temps for months.
