I've never done it and I don't feel like my career has suffered because of it. Unless you need to do a lot of networking in order to get in hand offer I don't really think it's necessary.

Just watched an episode of Alex Mack and they mentioned these results have been tabulated by the independent firm Price Waterhouse...etc... Clearly we've been targeted from PWC from the beginning.
