Do you think working from home 1 or 2 days a week (when offices open back up) would help reduce your overall stress?

Yes, and I plan to. If nOt aLlOwEd then I’ll just go elsewhere.

YES. Even just the ability to be able to do normal human things during my work breaks like laundry, cooking, running errands nearby, being with a pet/SO/family even just one or two days a week makes a huge difference. I’d be taking those same breaks at the office but instead would be checking the cafeteria, scrolling through social media, etc. And we’d still get the time to socialize with coworkers the other 3-4 days of the week. It seems much more humane to me.

like

Yes. Our attorneys probably average a one hour commute time (LA). Im optimistic not having to deal with that 5 days a week and being home, while having the social stimulus of being the office a few days a week and having coffee/hh/etc. will be helpful.

like

Yes. 100% yes. I plan on 3-4 days a week at home post covid.

This is what I’ve been doing. I have a lot of flexibility with WFH vs office time. As long as my billables are good and I’m getting work done my firm doesn’t care where I work.

like

Yes!! I’m hoping to continue to work from home at least one day a week post-Covid. My firm has said they’re fine with wfh schedules, but we’ll see how it really goes, especially since “face time” is so important to the boss.

1st of all: I’m super inspired by this bowl. I’m now mid-30s and recently went 50+ days without drinking and felt good/productive. (Longest streak since before turning 21) But how do you stick with it? I’m conflicted bc I haven’t hit a “rock bottom” and part of me loves a glass of wine to unwind and mark the end of the workday, but I also have a hard time stopping once I start (no such thing as 1 glass). Feel boarder-line between these 2 worlds and unsure where to go. Anyone feel similar?

Race “preference” in LGBTQ is a sexual preference that propagates and evolves into a social preference. Observe the LGBTQ folks around you. If one claims to have a race preference, their social groups are usually comprised of/dominated by that race. Needless to say how they treat other races. For those who think this is a problem, share an example of unfair treatment by the LGBTQ community because of how you look/your race.
