No. Waste of money for most people. You can figure it out yourself online. If you do use one, make sure they charge a flat fee (rather than %) and DO NOT let anyone talk you into whole life insurance.

Yes, and I find them very valuable. They do a better job investing than I can and I know it’s done well. Saves me the time/mental space to worry about it myself. Very happy to have found an advisor we really like.

EMBAs — what was your mindset/approach during your program? Did you prioritize school over work? Vice versa? Neither?

Want to prioritize school (mentally) and leverage workplace as a lab to experiment with diff ideas I learn in class (rather than focusing on going above and beyond for the next promo). Is this a recommended approach?

I have a constant fear that my dates are just flirting/saying sweet things without meaning. I fear investing into them, getting excited for our date, etc. because I feel like they’re just playing me & will ghost me at any moment. I used to fall fast when I was younger, and now I’m terrified I can’t trust my intuition. Had someone love bomb me a year ago & I have no clue what to believe is true (do they really enjoy me, or are they just saying that?). Can anyone relate or know how to fix this?

Has anyone successfully claimed that income from a NY big law firm is not NY income based on TSB-M-06(5)I (May 15, 2006)? I think that my situation meets all the factors necessary.
