Do you wake up at the same time everyday? (Weekends included) I try to practice this during the week but sleep in really late in the weekend. But this ends up being counterproductive because I feel lethargic and groggy all day then 😑

A1, I've always been a morning person so I don't really have an answer.

I just had a convo with a CrossFit coach the other day and they said it usually takes people a few months to get used to early morning workouts and settle into a sustainable groove.

Looking for input . My company's policy has always been to pay out on rollover PTO when you leave the company. My last day was Jan 8th, and I had 10 days from 2020 I was supposed to be paid on. I talk to my manager and a VP in HR, and they both confirmed I would be paid on the PTO in my Jan 15th paycheck. However, I was not paid and when I emailed about it I was told there was a PTO policy change in April of 2020 and the company no longer pays on carry over PTO...

Last year I was "randomly" asked to plan & execute the secret santa event at our company Christmas party. It was fun, but I did spend time outside and at work doing something that wasn't work. Low and behold this year I've been asked to do the same, AND help schedule and organize the party itself. Yes I am one of the only women in the office. How do you get better at contract negotiations? (I’m a 4th yr. in commercial real estate) I feel like I’m generally good at pulling together an initial draft of an agreement (ex PSAs)...but I struggle when comments come back. Can I use fruit candy as a pre-workout and on-foot refueling source for ultra running? I get the same boost of energy with a handful of Mike & Ikes as I do on a Gu gel, but it's a lot more affordable to use candy than a Power Gel, and the flavor is a lot more palatable in my opinion. My stomach prefers this approach too. Am I missing race-critical nutrients by doing this, or is it essentially similar with other gel fuels? Thoughts?

Anyone has extreme caffeine sensitivity here? I stopped drinking coffee since September because Everytime I would drink coffee, I would get really anxious and jittery a few hours after. Today, I was feeling sick so decided to make chai for myself. Black tea does have some amount of caffeine so I got very jittery 2-3 hours after consuming it. It is killing me and I guess I should give up on occasional chais too 😔
