To the LGBT: Do you ever discuss your sexual orientation/gender identity in the office? Does it even matter as long as you get the job done?

When agencies post pics of their white staff, and boasts that they’re all about diversity, I call BS. A diverse house doesn’t mean the IT person or the receptionist- unless they’re also creatives!:)

Is it diversity if you only hire minorities to work on diversity projects that make you, as an agency, look good? Maybe those people just want to work on stupid banner ads like their white coworkers

All this bloviating by liberals every minute of every day won’t change the fact that Trump will be re-elected in a landslide come Nov 3. I’m seriously concerned about the mental health of these people because the constant catastrophism is going to lead to psychotic breaks. You can already see it clearly in this bowl. People that are supposedly all about compassion, kindness, love and inclusion show nothing but a vitriolic hatred toward anyone that disagrees with them.

Any tips for bringing up diversity in the workplace as an associate who is not really in a position of authority? The legal field is obviously not very diverse to begin with and my office in particular is extremely lacking in diversity. I’d like to suggest initiatives to change this, but I’m unsure of the best way to bring it up. No negative comments please. If you don’t think diversity is necessary or important, just keep it to yourself.

TFW you assume someone’s gender on a call or in an email because they have a typically female name and long hair. Or a common male name and short hair. Then the very next time you get an email from them they’ve added (they/them). Ouch.
