Looking for some specific info on Short Term Disability eligibility at EY. I would like to accept an offer, but wonāt be eligible for 16-wk parental leave before 1 yr of tenure. This is an important detail for me since I am expecting this year. I have received in email that for parents who have a child *before* 1 year, that they are eligible for STD after 3 mnths at 100% for 6 weeks (+3weeks of approved PTO). is there fine print that pregnancy is a āpre-existing conditionā and Iād be denied?

Thank you all, I think it's settled, consistency is key and the more I sleep the merrier!
I donāt think itās ideal to yo-yo it like thatā¦ consistency is routine. That said if you do rack up āsleep debtā making it back later is better than not getting it back. But it would be best to do a standard 8 hours every night if you can

50 hours is within a healthy range. Studies recommend between 7-9 hours of sleep per day.
To optimise between free time and health, I sleep around 7 hours per night and use the extra time for exercise. No issues and has been sustainable.
