I'm rejected in the final interview round of VmWare. I had never been rejected in a final round of the interview process before. They asked some networking and C language based questions which I studied 6 years ago in college. I have other offers in hand. But I saw good reviews about this company. 2.5 YOE, 6.2 LPA Mainframe, recently got an offer from TCS for Mainframe Developer position with 7.5Lpa. My project Director called me and willing to match the salary here in Cognizant. He said i will be eligible for yearly hike as well.

Please suggest if truly I will be eligible for yearly hike after being retained and is it good to stay overall.

P.S - TCS gave 7.5 on top of 5.1 LPA, 6.2 is what i got recently in April promotion for Associate.

Suppose if I put down my paper next year and Last day comes in the month of December 2023, so in such case CTS will take JB from me or what will happen?

Today I had HR discussion wherein my expected CTC was 12.5LPA but HR said they can only give 10LPA including variable..After long discussion I said I'm expecting 11.5LPA atlast then HR said she will get back to me at today EOD..but I didn't receive any updates yet.
Did I miss the offer or HR had to get approval?
Do I need to call and accept whatever they are offering?
But I feel I'm lowballed as I don't have any offer in hand and I'm desperate to get this job..
