Nah, none of my referrals have gotten past the application stage. Dunno why
Do you mind sharing for what role(s)?
I got an email from HR for a phone screening 3 hours after a referral!
Were severely understaffed and looking to fill the gap so I’m guessing yes
Thanks!
I’d rather not say Manybrain since not a lot of folks go this route.
Nope, had referrals twice and both thought I had the perfect background. Never got an interview 🤷🏻♀️
Haha it’s cool, I’m well over it
Unpopular opinion but I have always thought the resume screening system in general is flawed and biased. And, ZS is no exception. Somehow we expect recruiters to have judgement of others' skill, acumen, expertise, and a lot more in a field they have 0 experience working in themselves.
Had 2 stark examples of referrals from non-target schools. One of them went thru LEK and the other at BCG. And, we didn't think they deserved a phone call during a time we were understaffed.
