Does a senior VP in a relatively "no-name" company (like Johnson and Johnson) make more than an entry level Program Manager in Google?

Ignoring the fact that you just called J&J no-name and are comparing their SVP salary to entry level at Google

J&J Managers make $180-200k
Sr. M-managers $230-250k
Directors $250K - $300K
Sr. Directors $300k-$350K
Vice Presidents up to $400K
All of this cash, add stocks on top of it, you could probably imagine their SVPs make North of half a million
Their EVPs make $5-10M so that gives a really good idea.

So unless Google pays $500K entry level nowadays your post is the most ridiculous thing I’ve seen this week

Exec recruiter here who works with “no name” F100 companies like J&J. The original question (while stupid) does highlight an interesting disparity. An SVP at J&J does indeed make far more however the LTI incentives (which big tech heavily weights towards) will typically have far more upside. (Pandemic stock increase being an anomaly…hopefully)
