Hello everyone. Does anyone have experience filing taxes in a year when you transitioned from F-1 status to H1B status?
1. If your employer deducted social security and Medicare starting Oct 1, can you get it back if you haven’t yet spent 5 years in the US?
2. How do you get this amount back? (Point 1)
3. Any tips on which tax consultant/website to use? I went with TurboTax but the person helping me out isn’t so helpful.
