I was interviewed for a major tech player in the hospitality industry, had 2 interviews which for the first one the recruiter was late, and didn't confirm the interview while I emaild her to make sure I do have an interview. Do these 2 things I used to do to get over it:

1. Know the product inside out - it will take time for you to gain confidence in your sales abilities but if you know the product will you’ll be more confident in that domain.

2. Do more demos - the more calls and presentations you do the more comfortable you’ll get. My advice is to try to get on a lot of presentations, even with leads that aren’t so good.

Are you allowed a break between deals if the prior deal involved multiple weekends of full day work and several nights ending at 3/4 am

Why do people at big 4 work so much if they have offshore teams to help? I'm at a MM firm and we get crappy data all day plus we're building everything out ourselves but even then I'm still able to keep it under 50 hours most weeks.

Anyone know any smaller / regional firms that are moving their FDD practices to 100% remote? I have no problem traveling for client/target meetings obviously, but hate the idea of being tied to a city and having to ask permission to move. 2.5 years in global MNC corporate finance and deloitte advisory in India
1 year internship in VC in usa currently.

Unable to make a move with VC, no luck at MM IB Analyst roles or Valuations.

Considering the changing job market, I'm looking at getting back at big4 asap that helps me get my career on track to get to IB, VC, PE.

Or other option is corporate FP&A.

FDD folks: What was your biggest dumpster fire of a deal? Seems like things can go very wrong whilst moving at deal speed.

How big is the pay difference between FDD and disputes and investigations at A&M? Also what is the WLB difference?
