Thats 99 dollars more expensive than i would pay
Waste of money.
A monkey with darts can pick better
So, if someone gave you a few darts, what are the 5 stocks you would pick? 🤔
Create an account and don’t buy the subscription
They will email you with a $79 offer, don’t take it
They will come back with a $59 offer, don’t take it
They will come back with a $49 offer
I have found their stock picks to be good 3 out of 5 times
The upside on the 3 good ones was huge
My recommendation - do take it

Love this. Wouldn’t have known unless I brought this up. Thanks D3.
I have it and am a big fan. I’ve more than recouped the fee in just a couple months. I’m sure more sophisticated investors could do without it but it’s better than I could come up with on my own.
I have it. Seems like they've done well with their picks. Have been burned sometikes though (E.g. Luckin), and you need to be a growth investor - not great for older consultants/more conservative wealth-builders.

Just listen to their free podcasts, they’re quite good.
Used to work there and have a RB sub. Here’s what I wrote in another bowl: https://joinfishbowl.com/comment_uus8da

Huge help. Thanks D4.
If they could reliably pick winners, then they’d be talking to banks instead of sending clickbait ads to you. Don’t be gullible
Interested in their thought about what stocks to get
If you’re incapable of doing your own reading and research, sure, it’s worth it. Personally I’d rather listen to free business podcasts and keep track of trends that way.
You can track their etf holdings for free
That’s not where you’re going to find the up-and-comers that will give you those 2-3x returns though.
I use them and made back $99 and then more. They recommend at least a portfolio of 20 stocks and not bet on singles. Like any place they have a good bets and bad bets. If I make the $99 back, anything past that is gravy.
I invested in about 7 companies for a total cost of $7000, made $1500 from it over the past 4 months. 5 of the 7 are in the green. 2 in red. 1 of the 7 shares is an outsize winner contributing to 90% gains. I think it is important to take a portfolio approach rather than pick individual winners.
Fair point SM1 and BCG1. Hurt my ego a bit but your assessment is right.
The Montley seeking alpha work off of advertising they get from the brokerage houses. Buddies running shows. They would rather make cash to their buddies who are your brokerage house than you.

D2, substantiate this claim. Until then, I’m disregarding.
Is their ad keep coming on your social media feeds and that’s why you are curious?

No, I’ve been following motley fool for a few years and more seriously in the past year. Just haven’t pulled the trigger.
Another positive of Fool is that it allows you to know of some companies and that hat you would not have normally known (e.g in my case JD.com)
